Have yourself a merry little Christmas!

Brian and I enjoyed a fabulous night out at Hairspray in Bismarck this weekend. We got some much needed shopping done. We had dinner out with some friends and took in a movie too. It was a great weekend. We are in the Christmas spirit here! We are really looking forward to some time off and time spent with family. We will stay in town for the Holidays with the exception of spending New Years skiing with my familly in the Black Hills.

Best wishes for a wonderful Holiday season!

Ready for the Holidays

Brian and I can hardly believe that it is November already. We have been home in ND for 3 months and are still loving it. We have had quite a ride already. There have been some ups and some downs, mostly ups though:) I think Brian is more excited for Christmas than I have ever seen him be. He wants to decorate early, plays Christmas music all the time, and is just fully in the spirit of things. We are looking forward to having our nephew visit for Thanksgiving and will enjoy the company of Brian's sister for Christmas. We are blessed and we try hard not to forget it. Happy Holidays!!!

In the swing of things:)

I realize it has been 1 month since our last post, which technically means we have been in ND 1 month. Man time flies. Brian and I are both enjoying our jobs so much. We have been so busy with getting our house unpacked and ready to go, spending time with family, class at DSU for me, and various projects Brian is working on at home and at work. We are loving every minute of it.

Nothing to new here, just living the dream:)

We have arrrived!

Well...we made it home. The move was pretty uneventful, sure we had some minor issues here and there but nothing major. We had tons of help and are so thankful to be done with that darn U-Haul...it was a beast. We are getting settled in and have tons of unpacking to do but we will work to get it all done by weeks end. Lola is adjusting fairly well. She seems to be liking her new house and the fabulous deck! We find ourselves loving being home but miss our friends back in Minneapolis. It feels great to be home!

1 week and counting!

One week and counting...wow, it is really here. On Friday I just could not grasp that it was my "last Friday" at Fairview. Time is really flying by. I am sure by mid-week next week I will be a complete mess trying to say goodbye to my amazing co-workers, better yet my amazing friends. Today was spent packing and starting to get the apt cleaned (again, I say started and no where near complete). I had a hair appt and when I got home I was pleasantly surprised to see that Brian had made a lot of progress on packing and had cleaned his bathroom:) We got a lot done but have plenty more to do tomorrow. We took Lola for walk tonight just before dark and talked about what we thought it might be like in a week or even two weeks. This is such an exciting time for us. We are so blessed to have this opportunity.

2 Weeks Notice!

Brian and I spent much of this weekend trying to spend time with our friends before we leave and packing. Saturday night was spent with our friends Bridgett and Josh going to Batman at the IMAX theatre. What a great show! The packing has gone better than we thought it would. After moving once at the beginning of May and now again at the end of July/beginning of August...we have come to the conclusion that we have a lot of crap:) Well maybe not crap but a lot of stuff. Two weeks from today we will be in Dickinson in our new rental house unpacking and getting adjusted. We can't wait.

Dickinson, here we come!

Well...it is official. Brian and I are moving home to Dickinson, ND in two weeks! We couldn't be more excited. It seems as though the stars have aligned. We both have wonderful jobs, a fabulous rental house, a killer lot to build on, and family family family. We are ready to see what this new adventure holds for us. We will be leaving Minneapolis on Saturday, August 9th. We hope to try to see everyone before we leave. Minneapolis has been wonderful for us but, we are ready for the next chapter in our lives:)

The first entry

I got the idea of blogging from a friend of mine, Josie...I thought it might be a fun idea. My hope is that I can keep up with blogging at least a couple times a week...stay tuned:)
