I know I said I would be better about updating this and have yet to show that I actually mean it. November is flying by so fast. We are busy here trying to get into baby mode. We are going to start on the baby's room in the next week or two and hope to have it finished by mid December. We have finally decided on paint and now need to move everything out of the room, paint, assemble the crib and dressers etc...and get everything into place. School is super busy for me right now as I am trying to fit a lot in since I am feeling a bit guilty about taking 12 weeks off and not being at Jefferson much in the Spring. Brian is busy with work as well and is going to start to be even more busy in a few short weeks. Tax season is upon us...for the wife of an accountant, I have come to learn this is a season all its own. The baby is doing great. He/She is moving like crazy and does a good job of making my belly dance daily. I am continuing to love pregnancy and amazed everyday by this little one in my stomach. We can't wait to be parents. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving and of course Christmas too:)

Fall is in the air!
Fall is here! I can't believe it is Oct already. Where has time gone? School is really in full swing now...so is cold and flu season apparently. I found myself in the ER this weekend with Strep Throat. It was miserable but I am on the mend and feeling much better. All is well with baby. We had an appt a few weeks ago and also had our big ultrasound. Everything looks great on the ultrasound and we resisted the urge to find out the sex:) I am enjoying this pregnancy so much. I have recently started feeling movements in the last few weeks and Bri has started to feel them too. It is so amazing. Big news on the workfront with Brian. Reichert Fisher is no more...it has mergerd with Brady Martz recently and everyone is very excited about it. This is a wonderful opportunity for Brian and he is excited about the future. This month we are looking forward to a trip to Fargo to see our nephews and to register for our baby stuff. We are also excited for Halloween and can't wait to hand out candy to all the kiddos!

16 Weeks
This week marks 16 weeks for us and also the start of the school year for me. We had our appt on Monday and everything looks great. We scheduled our Ultrasound for late September and are eagerly awaiting it. We are not planning on finding out if we are having a boy or girl, we like the element of surprise. Brian is busy with work and is looking forward to the fall with me. All in all things are going very well here. Lola Coconut is excited to take a walk most nights and has adjusted well to not being out of the kennel all week with me going back to work. We are excited about meeting our new nephew who is expected to arrive next week:)

Things, they are a changin:)
I apologize for not keeping this blog updated. I intend to be much better about it in the future. Where to start... we have been so busy this summer. We have been enjoying time outside, the lake, and hanging out with family and friends. We have been to Minneapolis, Chicago (just me for my cousin's wedding) and most recently Fargo for 2 weeks for a class. Life has been busy. Lola has been enjoying her summer and pretty much bakes in the sun all day and loves it. She can usually be found either in the bay window or out on the deck. The most exciting part of the summer has been...we are very excited to announce that we are expecting our first child in Feb 2010. We could not be more thrilled! We will keep everyone updated as things progress, for now we know we have a very active baby with a healthy heartbeat:) We are blessed!!!

Can you say tax season?
Well it has finally come...tax season that is. Things are busy around here. Brian is busy with work and works most Saturdays and Sundays too. The good news is, he is still enjoying his job very much. Joining Reichert Fisher was the right decision for him. School continues to keep me very busy as well. I can hardly believe that I am almost through my first year. It has been so wonderful and has exceeded my expectations. Lola Coconut continues to enjoy relaxing in the bay window and suning herself. Life is good. We are eagerly awaiting Spring! We continue to pray for my mom as she battles cancer again.
